Tattoos on Women

Does anyone else think that tattoos on women are going out of style?

At first it was sexy and unusual, now every woman seems to have reading material above her butt, a bird on her shoulder, and a butterfly on her ankle. I’d love to meet a woman that has natural skin from head to toe for a change. What do you think?
Sorry for singling out women. This should also include Tribal Art for men. Do you think that these “fashon tattoos” are going out of style?

All depends. Yes there are some very standard looking and placed tattoos that likely done just because everyone else had them done. There are also pieces of art done by talented professionals. As long as it doesn’t make one look like they came out of the same printing press and the work is not overdone I have no issue with that. Also why there should be any difference how tattoos should be viewed on women and men? I disagree with that.

i totally agree with you a lot of women just get tattoos because it is the "thing to do" but it is getting kinda of boring so when someone has no tattoos it is nice because you are totally focused on them not just there tattoos

Not many women have tattoos but mostly piercings. I dont find tattoos attractive on anyone. I think that when you get older. like really old. that its going to look very werid plus you really cant get rid of a tatoo unless you do painful surgery. No. i dont think that they are in style. I totally agree with you buddie. well. maybe we can chat sometime. abercrombiechick525@yahoo.com email me.

If I were a man, I would have a vagina tattoo on my peener. I think chicks covered completely in tattoos are wicked sexy. They definitely have to be completely covered with them, though. I say, it’s all or nothing.

I have four tattoos and I am in the military. No one knows i have them because they can be covered by socks, shoes, shirt, or a watch. The thing is I designed all of them and I still like them several years after I’ve gotten them. It’s each individuals personal preference on what they like. I don’t think I’ve ever met a woman who got a tattoo just because, "It’s cool." I guess the next time you see a woman you might want to ask her to take all her clothes to do a full body inspection before you get to know her because God forbid if you like someone with a little ink.

i hope so, tattoos arent a style thing

Be careful how you just people with tattoos. I am covered, but i can promise you that i don’t have the proverbial tramp stamp or other such danty "i just want to get a tattoo to say i have one" kind of ink. All of mine tell a story of who i am and different events in my life.

Art is beautiful and tattoos are a form of self expression for those that take them seriously. Granted it’s hard to find a blank canvas any more. (and yes, a blank canvas on a female is a beautiful thing) but don’t be so quick to judge us girls that do have them. Sometimes being able to "read their story" adds to their beauty.

I don’t you should just say "tattoos on women" and make a general statement like that. I think it depends on the woman and the tattoo, not just "all tattoos on women."

I’m not really a fan of the generic tattoo that are popular and are everywhere.
Like the tribal tattoo on the arms– give it a rest.

But like I said, it depends. not all women with tattoos are unsexy and not all women with tattoos are sexy.

i don’t really think it’s a style, it’s a lot more permanent and personal than that. people who get tattoos just for the style aspect (women AND men) usually regret them later because they don’t mean anything special.

and get over yourself, a sexy woman is sexy with or without a tattoo. an unsexy woman is unsexy with or without a tattoo. and yeah, same with men.

I think that is very singling out because a lot of true to their heart women get a tattoo because it has meaning to them and not ‘cliche’ like some women what you are refering to above is cliche and women that do have tattoos simliar like you said above probably have meaning. Because any person that invests in a tattoo knows its expensive and permant.

it’s not so much the women it’s the fact that they all choose the same things. tattoos shouldn’t be in style, they should be unique and individual. I am an apprentice tattoo artist and have yet to get a tatt coz I’m way too picky!
Tribal is awful because the people who want it jut pick it off the wall or comp, yet I enjoy doing them on people as they’re the easiest!

    i know some "natural" women.

they either don’t have a desire for a tattoo or haven’t found a design they like

there are plenty of ladies out there, and guys, with no tattoos.

i just happen to have a butterfly on my ankle (and 4 others) and my fiance has 2 tribal designs (and 1 more) – and we love ours.
    we are both planning more

ps my mom is in her 60s and has 5 as well and is planning more
